George Martell and I set as our goal for these 2 weeks in Rome that if Archdiocese of Boston Catholics followed our coverage, we would provide you a sense of what it was like to be here in Rome during this papal transition.
We hope we have delivered on our goal through our articles, radio broadcasts, blogs, photos, videos and prayers.

Prayer Requests
Overall, I received very many prayer requests. Without getting into any of the details, the greatest number involved praying for loved ones who are ill, then for relatives who are away from the Church, for the Cardinals in Conclave, for those who are unemployed, for those who are pregnant, for spouses and for children, and a lot more unique prayer requests.
This was the first time in my life I solicited prayers to pray for other people. The number and variety of prayer requests was humbling.  It made me imagine what it must be like for Jesus each day to hear so many requests (many millions times greater than what I was asked for which to pray) or for the Blessed Mother to intercede for so many.
It was an honor to be able to bring these requests into St. Peter’s and to our first Pope’s intercession. Several others asked for me to pray at a particular tomb there, which I was able to do.
