In this historic time within the Church, The Good Catholic Life is proud to bring you on-the-ground coverage of the retirement of Pope Benedict XVI and the following papal conclave to elect his successor from Rome!

Starting Wednesday, February 27, 2013, our regular Thursday guest, Gregory Tracy, managing editor of the Pilot, the official newspaper of the Archdiocese of Boston, will be blogging live from Rome on TheGoodCatholicLife.com with stories, photos, and videos from the Eternal City as Pope Benedict leaves the See of Peter for the last time and the world’s cardinal gather in the Vatican as a body for the first time in this interregnum.

And then starting with the week of March 4, our host Scot Landry will be in Rome sending back daily reports on the activities in the city, going beyond the headlines you’ll see in the major media to give you the perspective a pilgrim from Boston, meeting with Massachusetts natives now living in or visiting Rome as well as other key figures within the Church. He will be there until our new Holy Father is elected and he, too, will send back not only our daily radio show, but also blogs. George Martell from our The Good Catholic Life team will be traveling with Scot to use his award-winning skills to send back photos and video that capture the fervor and excitement of this momentous occasion.

So please stay tuned to The Good Catholic Life and TheGoodCatholicLife.com. If you follow other blogs using a news feed reader, such as Google Reader, please subscribe to The Good Catholic Life by clicking on the feed icon on the menu bar above. Look for this logo:
