On Tuesday, Scot and Fr. Chris O’Connor welcome Drs. David and Angela Franks and Dr. Aldona Lingertat of the new Theological Institute for the New Evangelization at St. John’s Seminary to discuss the new initiative for laity, deacons, and religious: the existing Master of Arts in Ministry degree program (MAM), which prepares the laity to serve and evangelize the local Church through a variety of ministries and which has joined TINE; the new Master of Theological Studies for the New Evangelization (MTS) program, which prepares students to evangelize the world, especially in the areas of work, culture and family, beginning in the fall of 2011; and non-degree Certificate programs which offer unique resources to form catechists and to deepen your knowledge of the faith.
